We are here to help you acquire the right skills and training to be suitably qualified to care for children, young people and vulnerable adults.
We offer a wide range of courses in health and social care, available from Level 1 right up to Level 3 Extended Diploma, so whether you want to work with adults or young people, and no matter where you are on your career journey, as long as you have a desire to improve people’s lives then we are sure to have a course to suit you.
As part of your course, at the right time for you and as an integrated element of your learning, you will have the opportunity to complete one or more of the following qualifications:
Level 1 Award in Interpersonal Skills
Level 1 Award in Mental Health Awareness
Level 1 Award in Digital Skills
These are FREE to you. We know the importance of adding knowledge and competencies to your CV to make you stand out from the crowd. Following extensive conversations with local employers we know that qualifications such as these are highly-prized, and showing that you have honed additional skills will certainly set you on the right path to the career you have always wanted.
Prerequisites
To enrol on an Health and Social Care course with us you will need to produce the correct documents required to process your DBS application form. You will not be able to enrol without completing a DBS application.
One proof of ID:
- Passport - any valid and current passport
- Biometric residence permit - UK
- Current driving licence photo card (full or provisional)
- Birth Certificate (issued within 12 months of birth)
Two proofs of address with your name and address (MUST BE DATED WITHIN THE LAST 3 MONTHS)
- Bank or building society statement (documents from two separate banks can be used)
- Utility bills
- Benefit statements
- P60 or P45, council tax statement or mortgage statement (issued within last 12 months)
Please note, we will accept a letter from head teacher or college principal UK for 16 to 19 year olds in full time education (only taken in exceptional circumstances if other documents cannot be provided)
