Students were able to meet and mingle with fellow classmates and had the opportunity to visit stalls such as the students’ union where Modou and Benedicta were able to introduce themselves and the SU, Better Health, where students were informed about what they could do to improve their fitness, Oasis NHS who were able to offer information about free mental health support and so much more!

I lead on university applications and personal statements; CV writing and interview skills. Fionnula Dainty - Careers and Employability Development Officer
My role at the college is based around ensuring that students develop their employability skills throughout the year, so that when they leave, they can progress into work, university or an apprenticeship. I help students develop their confidence in workshops, take them on trips to meet universities or to careers fairs, help with CVs, improve interview skills and support the students with their UCAS applications. I love helping students positively move into the next stage of their lives.
Donna Webster - Work Placement Officer
As a Placement Officer I support students in getting work experience in their relevant fields of interests and build a network with employers to provide placement opportunities and build long term working relationships, carry out placement visits, plan and deliver different events and fairs to bring employers and students together. I am very passionate in helping our students and I will continue to support our future for the working world.
The most exciting part about the Freshers' Fair was seeing new and returning students mingling with their fellow peers, enjoying the warm weather and great music.
