Whether you’re budgeting for your weekly shop; making sure you’re paying the right amount of tax; or just working out how long you’ve got until your favourite programme starts; Maths is all around you, and affects every part of your daily routine.

That’s why being confident in your use of numbers, and having sound mathematical skills, is so important if you want to get ahead in life. It can help you advance to further study; land your perfect job; or even just make your household budgeting easier.

At Lambeth College, we have a wide range of Maths qualifications and courses, specifically designed to aid adult learners. With six levels available - from Entry Level 1 Functional Skills, all the way up to GCSE Maths – we’ll help you find the perfect level to match your current skills and future ambitions.

So, even if you just want to improve your Maths skills to help you measure ingredients for baking; studying with Lambeth College makes gaining a nationally-recognised qualification a piece of cake.

If, following the outcome of your assessment, you are not quite ready for Functional Skills at a specific level, we will be able to offer you an alternative course at the same level, which has no exam, and this will enable you to develop your skills to then progress onto Functional Skills. These courses are available at every level (except Entry 1) and are RARPA courses (Recognising And Recording Progress and Achievement). Your course will be tailored to you and your progress will be monitored with an Individual learning plan, you will also receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the course.
