📸 Shakira Martin
Shakira is the former President of the NUS (the first woman from the African- Caribbean community to serve as President). She is currently Head of Student Experience at Rose Bruford College and sits on the Board of Governors at Lambeth College.
Shakira has been a vocal ambassador for FE for years, campaigning for a more equal and inclusive education system, and is a regular - and inspirational speaker ar national congerences.
The college is looking forward to making sure that learning is appropriately challenging for students – this has been identified as something for us to work on from both student feedback and observations from last year.
